Job Description
With an increasing level of activity, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Service Engineer at Global Boiler Aalborg, you will embark on a thrilling journey across the globe, offering your expertise in boiler service, troubleshooting, control system upgrades and more. Your tasks will involve working onboard vessels in ports, shipyards, or even during voyages. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in engineering and design, offer remote support to customers, and ensure project cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and service on marine boilers and perform retrofits.
• Collaborate closely with our Service Engineer team or work independently.
• Maintain excellent communication with customers and third parties, to uphold our work standards.
• Conduct routine and emergency maintenance on boiler equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with boiler equipment and systems, implementing effective solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• An education background as a Marine Engineer, Automation Engineer, Electrician, or a related field.
• Preferably, experience working on vessels or familiarity with industry regulations and standards, as well as marine mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, PID controllers, AC Drives, and gas/dual fuel boilers.
• Thrives in a fast-paced and ever-evolving work environment, available for emergency callouts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for creating reports.

Job Details:

• This is a full-time position based in Denmark.
• Willing and flexibility to travel. Expected travel, mainly Europe/US (approx. 150 days)
• Clean criminal record/ability to obtain various Visa’s.
